We help you where we can

How can we help you?

We want it to be as easy and convenient as possible for you. But we know you may have some questions. Here you can learn more about appointments, treatments, prices, warranty and more.

Questions about the treatment

What kind of treatments does betterview offer?

With us, you can either have your eyes lasered using Femto-LASIK or the Trans-PRK procedure. During your free preliminary examination, the team in the shop will tell you which procedure is most suitable for you. You don't have time and want to achieve perfect vision as soon as possible? If so, you can book our premium treatment: Here, everything happens on the same day: preliminary examination, main examination, laser treatment and the first follow-up check-up. If you are not suitable for laser eye surgery, we can perform a lens implantation.

How does the laser eye treatment work?

Your preliminary examination will first determine if treatment is suitable for you. If this is the case, we will invite you to the main examination, where the team in the shop will determine the possible treatment methods and, in the best case, make an appointment for treatment with you right away. The treatment itself takes less than a minute per eye, after which you can relax in our lounge. Depending on the method, the first follow-up check is carried out either the very next day or after five days.

How does the lens implantation process work?

Here, too, we offer free preliminary and main examinations, treatment and check-up appointments. Again, the treatment itself only takes a few minutes! If you want to know more about our lens implantation or transplantation procedures, click here.

Who performs the treatment?

Of course, the treatment itself is only carried out by trained doctors.

How long will the treatment take?

The laser treatment itself only takes less than a minute per eye. The entire treatment lasts about 15 minutes.

Will the treatment hurt?

No. Your eyes will be anaesthetized with eye drops while the laser remains contact-free. You may feel some pressure during the treatment, but it is not painful.

What are the risks of the treatment?

The risk of laser eye treatment is about the same as the risk associated with wearing lenses. An infection occurs in only one in 10,000 cases and is easily treatable. The probability of obtaining perfect vision is exceptionally high at 95%.

What if the treatment does not work?

betterview offers all its customers up to 3-year quality guarantee free of charge. In other words, if your treatment does not have the desired effect, we will carry out a corrective treatment free of charge.

I am still unsure. How can I obtain more information about the treatment?

We completely understand that anything to do with one's eyes is a very sensitive issue for many people.
