Both laser eye treatment and lens implantation or refractive lens exchange at betterview are carried out in four simple steps.
In just 30 minutes, we provide a non-binding and free initial examination to determine whether your eyes are suitable for treatment. We measure, among other things, your current vision aid, check corneal thickness, and assess your visual acuity.
To ensure the best possible outcome and highest safety for your treatment, further examinations are necessary. These will take 45 to 60 minutes and will help us determine the most suitable treatment method for you — free and non-binding.
Achieve full vision in just a few minutes: both laser and lens treatments take only a few minutes per eye. Your eyes will be numbed beforehand with eye drops. It's a good idea to set aside a bit more time for the treatment appointment.
Depending on the treatment method, the aftercare appointment will either be the following day or within a few days. During the aftercare, we ensure that the treatment was successful and that the eye undergoes an optimal healing process.

Ann Gee1 week agoIch bin mehr als glücklich, dass ich meine beiden Augen eine refraktive Linsenaustausch gemacht habe. Zwar habe ich nach 2 Monaten noch einige Sterne im linken Auge, aber das soll weggehen, wenn das Auge nicht mehr so trocken ist. Mein Augenlicht wurde perfekt korrigiert!! Im linken Auge sogar 120%! Trotz Monofokallinse kann ich ohne Brille noch lesen. Ich bin so dankbar für betterview. Mein Leben ist dadurch viel schöner :) JEDE(R) der Mitarbeiteneden war sehr nett und kompetent, vom Empfang bis zum Anästhesisten und der sehr kompetente Chirurg Dr. Katz! L’intero processo è stato davvero professionale e rassicurante, il personale è stato sempre gentile e disponibile. Da quel momento, la mia vista è perfetta e non ho mai avuto problemi. Quyen Rabet2 weeks agoMi sono trovata benissimo con Better View! Ho effettuato l’intervento di Femto LASIK e non mi aspettavo un recupero così veloce. Il personale è stato professionale, attento e mi ha seguito in ogni fase del percorso, facendomi sentire tranquilla e sicura. Ho dovuto tenere gli occhiali protettivi solo per un giorno, ma già da subito potevo guardare telefono senza problemi. Passato l’effetto dell’ anestetico gli occhi hanno lacrimato per un paio d’ore, poi fino al giorno successivo avevo la sensazione di avere qualcosa nell’ occhio, ma tutto nella norma. Sono davvero soddisfatta del risultato e felice di aver scelto loro. Grazie!

Die OP selbst war ungewohnt, aber sie haben mir ein sicheres Gefühl gegeben. Schon am nächsten Tag konnte ich besser sehen als ohne Brille. Die ersten zwei Wochen der Heilung sind entscheidend, aber danach lief alles problemlos. Jetzt sehe ich einwandfrei 😊

Der Kundenservice ist 1A, die Optometristen und Ärzte haben ein sehr hohes Fachwissen, und alle sind äusserst empathisch. Ich habe die Femto-Lasik-Behandlung gehabt, die etwa 20 Sekunden pro Auge dauerte, überhaupt nicht schmerzhaft war, und schon einige Stunden später konnte ich 100% sehen. Bei betterview ist man in besten Händen.

Aldo Vignali3 weeks agoTrotz anfänglicher Angst bin ich so froh diesen Schritt gewagt zu haben. Seit dem Kindergarten war ich auf eine Sehhilfe angewiesen. Schmerzen hatte ich bei der ersten Behandlung keine trotz Warnungen, leider klappte es beim ersten Versuch nicht ganz und musste daher das rechte Auge nochmals Lasern. Was völlig unkompliziert und anstandslos durchgeführt wurde.Da hatte ich Aushaltbare schmerzen für einen Tag nun 1 Monat nach der Behandlung sehe ich super. No, in over 25 years, there has not been a single case where a patient went blind directly from laser eye correction. Other eye conditions, such as infections or retinal detachment, can occur even after laser treatment and can be treated.
A LASIK treatment is not painful, neither during the procedure nor after the laser eye correction. A foreign body sensation in the first few hours after the treatment is normal.
At betterview, we use only the most advanced laser eye treatment methods. The Femto-LASIK is the gold standard and the most commonly performed laser eye treatment worldwide. A Femto-LASIK treatment is painless, lasts only 15 minutes, and most customers experience a significant improvement in their vision by the next day. If a Femto-LASIK treatment is not possible for you (e.g., due to thin corneas), the Trans-PRK is an excellent alternative. For stronger refractive errors or presbyopia, a lens implantation or refractive lens exchange may be performed instead of a laser treatment. You can find out which method is suitable for you during a free and non-binding preliminary examination.

Exceptionally high. In about 95% of the treatments, no refractive error remains. If there is still any, it can usually be corrected with a second treatment.
In general, about 98% of people between 18 and 45 years old are suitable for laser eye treatment. Even for those over 45, there may still be the possibility of laser correction. However, typically, lens replacement is preferred starting at this age. We also offer this option. Which treatment method is best for you will be determined and thoroughly discussed during our free and non-binding consultations.
The process of a lens treatment is identical to the four steps of a laser eye treatment: free preliminary and main examination, followed by the treatment and aftercare. The treatment itself also takes only a few minutes per eye – afterward, you remain in the clinic until you feel ready to go home.
A refractive lens exchange involves replacing the eye's natural lens with an artificial lens (IOL, intraocular lens). This treatment method can correct high refractive errors as well as presbyopia (age-related farsightedness). After a refractive lens exchange with a multifocal lens, you can see clearly at all distances again.
To restore vision and, with it, quality of life to as many people as possible! Not all eyes are suitable for laser eye treatment: high refractive errors, age, or a too-thin cornea can be exclusion criteria. With our lens treatments, we offer an alternative.
