Most treated patients can completely stop using vision aids. In cases of very high diopter values, vision may deteriorate again. However, this is very rare and can often be corrected with a second laser treatment.
The healing time depends on the laser eye surgery method. With Femto-LASIK, the healing period is relatively short and completely painless: most patients can expect a significant improvement in their vision the day after treatment. However, it may take several weeks to months before the desired final result is achieved.

During laser eye treatment using the Femto-LASIK method, your eyes are first numbed with eye drops - so the treatment itself is completely painless. You won't experience any pain after the treatment either. A sensation of having something in your eye during the first few hours after the procedure is not unusual.
No, in over 25 years, there has not been a known case of someone going blind directly from laser eye surgery. Other eye conditions, such as infections, can occur after the procedure. However, these eye conditions are very rare and are treatable.
